Great review of a long overlooked “agricultural livestock” film! It’s a genre I’m inclined to be drawn to, (The Butcher Boy also comes to mind)!

Considering our current political climate, there seems to be parallels to the Ray-Gun era these days, with respect to our environment! If this film is a cinematic omen then perhaps history will repeat!

Having just returned from the magnificent Red Centre, I can't wait to track this down.

We also enjoyed this back in the early days of video. I think there was a similar film made recently?…not nearly as daunting

I had mostly forgotten about this movie except for occasionally having something trigger a flashback making me remember watching it. I LOVED the visual effects and will have to look it up now. Another film that this review trigger a reminder for is Wolfen. It was exploitation themed, using spiritual lore and wild animals as a means to an end. I really find these films fascinating! Thanks for the review and for your novels.

The Wikipedia page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razorback_(film), mentions a 70-minute featurette on the DVD called "Jaws on Trotters"!
